CanAm Bioresearch Infrastructure

Canam Bioresearch has laboratory space equipped with 11 bench top fume hoods, one walk-in fume hood, three Laminar Flow hoods, flammable solvent storage room, flammable cabinets, cold room, in-house inert gas supply line for each hood.

The Medicinal Chemistry Facility

Our state of the art chemistry laboratory is equipped with modern facilities for chemical synthesis and characterization, such as a 300 MHz Multinuclear NMR (Bruker Avance DPX300), Mass Spectrometer (Quattro Pro), three Waters HPLC systems capable of both analytical and preparatory separations, a validated Agilent 1200 HPLC, a High-Throughput Waters 2725 HPLC system, and validated analytical balances, cryo-coolers for carrying out reaction at -78°C, a 20L scale reactors.

The Pharmacology Facility

The Pharmacology Department comprises of an animal house capable of housing and conducting various in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo assays. The animal house is well equipped with Non-invasive blood pressure monitors, ultrasound system, surgical tables with inhalation anesthetic facilities, Langendorff apparatus, metabolic cages, rodent ventilators etc. The laboratory has microplate readers, laminar flow hoods, UV/visible spectrophotometer for various enzyme assays.

Canam scientists will work with you to design and execute cost effective preclinical studies to meet scientific objectives. All experiments would be conducted under IACUC approved protocols and all animals would be housed and handled as per good laboratory practices.

Our CanAm facility is highly secured and guarded round o'clock to prevent any unauthorized access. All computers are protected by firewall software to prevent unauthorized access.
